First impressions

I skate hard and heavy and often destroy wheels extremely quickly. I have just started skating again and after a few sessions on my old skates managed to completely core the current wheels that I was riding. So I started looking around for some cheap yet half decent wheels and came across these from www.UKskate.biz and thought why not give them a go after all £15 is not much compared the more commonly found prices of £28 for 4.

Old Wheels

Packaging

No frills approach basic cellophane wrap this helps keep the costs down and cost less to ship

Look and Feel

Good solid wheels well printed graphics and a solid clear urethane with a white core. Looks smart on most skates and was as easy to fit as any other wheels. They roll fast on smooth concrete and metal though they become slower and wear quickly on rough surfaces which I quickly found out after skating along the Bournemouth sea front

New Wheels

Thoughts after a few weeks

These wheels skate well form the word go. Being a hard wheel they tend to wear quickly on rough surfaces but they excel on any smooth park surface. Pumping ramps quickly became simple not the task it had felt before to drag my feet up to the coping.

Conclusion

If you want/need a great set of wheels and you’re on a budget these are the wheels for you. They roll well and wont leave you disappointed but don’t expect them to last forever.
