TITLE: backflips on quater/halfpipes
My Tip:

Starting Out Learning The Backflip

first it is probably easier to learn this on a halfpipe
skate towards the transition at an angle, at a pace you would use to stall on the ramp as you hit the transition lean backwards place on hand on the ramp and kick your legs over your head, this will get you used to the idea of flipping backwards . i recomend wearing a helmet to try this as there i a chance of sliding and hitting your head hard.

2nd Step

once you are confident wih the first step you should attempt to do it faster and at less of an angle. Dont go stright for a proper backflip you are likely to injure yourself.

3rd Step

this time come at the ramp at a speed you are confident at. at the top of the ramp jump and throw yourself backwards.place your hands on the ramp on your way over to ensure you do not hit your head.

Final step

This is where you go for a proper backflip. Go at a comfortable speed (enough to not hit your head on the copin on your way over) and jump at the top of the ramp, throw yourself backwards at the same time. i recomend tucking up slightly to avoid underspin and faceplanting dont tuck up to much or you may overspin.

Follow those steps and you should learn to backflip in no time.
